By Nate Gingery, Client Guide at Signature Championship Rings
Baseball season holds a special place in our hearts at Signature Championship Rings. We’re proudly based in Lincoln, Nebraska, and founded by our awesome leaders Chad and Kendra Beeman, who have been operating the company in the Cornhusker State for nearly 25 years. Our hard-working team at Signature Championship Rings mostly lives in Lincoln and around the state – including neighboring Omaha, home to the NCAA Men’s College World Series since 1950.
So, to us, baseball, Signature Championship Rings, and Nebraska go together like peanuts and Cracker Jacks. Essentially, for nearly a third of the time that Omaha’s been celebrating men’s college baseball, painting the town with college students and families rooting on their schools, we’ve been here designing custom baseball rings, celebrating every unforgettable inning, and enjoying the annual festivities.
Custom Baseball Rings Inspired by the CWS in Omaha
Omaha is “baseball heaven” during the CWS, bringing the top eight NCAA Division I men’s college baseball teams and their throngs of fans to town every summer. The event is a party with great weather, tailgating, and local vendors. It’s more than just a tournament–it’s a tradition. More than baseball, my fondest memories are going as a kid, feeling the energy of the ballpark, and enjoying the experience with family and friends. For that, Signature Championship Rings is Nebraska.

Over their two decades, Chad, Kendra and the Signature team have built amazing relationships with high school and collegiate coaches across all sports in Nebraska, and they’ve since leveled up that Midwestern service and grace to meet a national scale. It’s evident in our baseball rings.
Tips Toward Designing a World-Class Baseball Ring
Baseball is a sport with many levels of champions to fit. Every state has a little league champion, there’s the global Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa., there are semi-pro leagues, minor league baseball teams funneling to Major League Baseball, high school teams, and a range of college programs.
What does this mean when developing a ring? Every championship ring needs to reflect a wide range of stories, team sizes, and budgets. There is no shortage of examples to work from and the creativity can be endless. Understandably, little league organizations may be a little more conservative, relying on ring templates, and tasked with creating rings that are more showpieces rather than wearable rings for growing hands.
Signature’s vision is to celebrate every champion. Whether it’s a youth baseball ring or a CWS finalist’s keepsake, Signature Championship Rings work within every program’s needs to design a custom ring to match their moment.

Design Ideas to Bring the Heat:
- Stitching Stones: Design the top of a ring to look like a baseball using stones to represent the stitching
- Diamond on the Diamond: Place stones in the shape of a baseball diamond
- Stadium Details: Pattern rings to mimic iconic fields like Charles Schwab Field in Omaha or your own hometown ballpark
- Team Slogans: Include popular rallying cries or chants your players shout from the dugout
Bonus: Coaches can be as creative as they want with baseball rings, especially since they have more time to design a ring. In high school, for example, the baseball season ends around the time the school year ends so athletes don’t expect to receive a ring until the next school year. With no school pressure, you can swing for the fences and design something truly unique. Let’s look at an example from a perennial powerhouse program.
Behind the Ring: Florida State University’s 2024 CWS Ring
In 2024, Florida State University’s men’s baseball team made it to the CWS semifinals, losing to eventual champions the University of Tennessee. Nevertheless, their season was remarkable – and so was their College World Series ring.

Here’s what made it shine:
- Rivalry Wins: Calling out how the team went undefeated against rivals the University of Florida University and the University of Miami, crowning themselves State Champs
- School Colors: Leveraging the gold and maroon colors of the school throughout the ring for a clean look that allows the diamonds to shine
- Stadium Engraving: A baseball stadium design engraved on the inside added additional meaning
- Player Personalization: Each ring included the player’s name and number for a personal touch
FSU is a frequent visitor of the College World Series, appearing 24 times, sixth most all time. The school knows its way around a creative ring, embracing the spirit of the CWS, conference championships, and the pride of the program.
